  • Application

    The iTHERM TM401 in hygienic design measures the temperature in vessels and pipes, e.g. during cleaning and sterilization, in heating/cooling processes. It is specially designed for use in hygienic and aseptic applications in the Food & Beverages and Life Sciences industries.

    Function

    The compact thermometer consists of a sensor (Pt100 class A), a transmitter (optional) and a housing (iTHERM TA30R), with various process connections. A thin film temperature sensors measures the temperature. As an option the signal can directly be converted into a 4 to 20 mA signal using an built-in head transmitter.
